No.307Light and Night01The core loop
Action → feedback → next choice- 01Get materials and blanks
- 02Design a badge
- 03Arrange it on a wall
- 04Show off and collect more
↻Feedback changes the situation — the next round starts from there.
Walk through one round
A simplified design example. Situations and numbers illustrate the mechanic, not exact rules from a reference game.
- T1
Turn 1 · The situation
A new event gives a holographic blank, and she has an art piece of his smile.
- T2
Turn 2 · The player chooses
She makes three matching badges and arranges a heart at the wall's center.
- T3
Turn 3 · The feedback
She shares a screenshot, and people ask whether the template can be exported.
- T4
Turn 4 · The next decision
She starts planning around the next event's blank.
How it plays
Players combine shape, finish, border and art into virtual badges, then arrange them on a display wall with swappable wallpapers and templates. It brings real-world merch-collecting culture into the game, burns content slowly, and gives cosmetic spending and fan sharing an outlet.
What the player weighs
- Allow free image upload for creativity, or official art only to avoid moderation and copyright issues.
- Put rare materials behind payment, or give them through events so everyone can make a nice wall.
02Start small
Scope is an editorial estimate for the minimum prototype, not the reference game or a production schedule.
03One mechanic, different implementations

Light and Night
A keepsake feature turns card art into homemade badges with shapes, holo finishes, outlines and charms, shown on a wall with templates and wallpapers.

Lovebrush Chronicles
Players can post sketches to an in-game social platform and show them in exhibitions (to be confirmed in-game).
The difference worth noticing
Light and Night goes deep on making things; Lovebrush Chronicles cares more about showing work to others.
Case notes are Yoroll editorial summaries; rules may change between versions.
04What could you combine?
After clearing, players turn film stills into badges; shared links carry the scene, making merch an entry point for sharing.
