Walk through one round
A simplified design example. Situations and numbers illustrate the mechanic, not exact rules from a reference game.
- T1
Turn 1 · The situation
A new gramophone needs home favorability level three.
- T2
Turn 2 · The player chooses
She visits daily, interacts with him and decorates the balcony.
- T3
Turn 3 · The feedback
Once unlocked, he goes to play a record at dusk by himself.
- T4
Turn 4 · The next decision
She wants more records and to see what he does at other hours.
How it plays
Players get a home or farm to decorate, plant and host visitors, while characters wander and talk. Favorability or level unlocks events and furniture. It adds a low-pressure daily loop beyond gacha, plus a place for cosmetics and social visits.
What the player weighs
- Deepen farm systems for stickiness, or stay light so they do not overshadow romance.
- Open friend visits and trade, or preserve a private two-person world.
02Start small
Scope is an editorial estimate for the minimum prototype, not the reference game or a production schedule.
03One mechanic, different implementations

Light and Night
The studio home has intimacy levels, a gramophone and furniture crafting, and a farm adds planting, processing, visitors and friend visits.

Tears of Themis
A small home lounge trades vouchers for furniture in themed sets, with rooms unlocking over time.
The difference worth noticing
Light and Night builds out both a home and a farm; Tears of Themis keeps its home to themed decoration and room unlocks.
Case notes are Yoroll editorial summaries; rules may change between versions.
04What could you combine?
Objects from the film enter the home after clearing, each replaying its filmed scene, making the home a museum of memories.
